[so the thing about being a big fuckoff snakeboy is that the beds in the cells are... really not. sufficient. or structurally strong enough for his body. this has been solved in Kraken by them assembling a blanketnest for him that takes up most of his room.

[Elliot is not the most peaceful of sleepers even when he is in his own space. Not that he does a whole lot of kicking or anything, just... y'know. Recurring nightmares. The sensation of being, y'know, tangled in a giant snake, is pretty unfamiliar and thus alarming, so he wakes up all at once with a gasp, reflexively shoving Megumi harder than is strictly nice.
